SUN-jun-ah SUH-thee-an [or see: handy Bollywood song for ref]

I am a 2019 graduate of the Iowa Writers' Workshop, and an alumna of the Clarion Writers’ Workshop.

My stories are published in Boulevard, Salt Hill, Joyland, and the Master’s Review. I have been first runner-up for the Boulevard Emerging Writers' Short Fiction Prize, finalist for the Narrative Story Contest, and finalist for the Master’s Review Story Contest, judged by Aimee Bender.

I’ve worked as a tech journalist in San Francisco and a foreign correspondent in Mumbai. My reporting from India was honored by the South Asian Journalists' Association. I was a 2017 Paul and Daisy Soros Fellow

For now, I live in the cornfields.
